 D&H 802
Unit # 802  First photograph of D&H 802 (SD45) was made at the B&M's engine facility at Somerville, MA. If you look at building smokestack in the background real close, it says B&M. This was a landmark on skyline for many years. Stack was demolished when B&M downsized its facilities in the early 70's (if memory serves). {location comment by Steve Hoyle}

Locomotive Information:

The three units were originally EMD demonstrators 4354, 4353 and 4352. Know as "Hummingbirds', these locos were swapped to EL for 3 U33Cs 3301 - 3303. They returned to the D&H after "Conveyance" day. All three went to Mexico in 1978.
