Locomotive Information:

All RS2's were originally painted black with yellow lining/lettering.  Yellow zebra stripes were applied later.  The original RS2's 244 engines were equipped with air coolers.  Later in life most were reconfigured with water coolers.  The configuration can be determined by the orientation of the exhaust stack on the long hood.  If the stack is off set to one side, the unit has an air cooled turbocharger, if the stack is centered on the long hood, the unit has a water cooled turbocharger.     Units 4050 and 4051 were manufactured by Montreal Locomotive Works, and lettered for subsidiary Napierville Junction.  The 4050 & 4051 were sold back to MLW in 1973 then sold to F. C. de Cuba as their 51501 & 51502.

All RS2's were off the roster by 1969.
