THE BRIDGE LINE
HISTORICAL SOCIETYGenealogy
While pursuit of one's family roots is a noble and rewarding endeavor, we at the Bridge Line Historical Society can only point you towards other organizations that may be able to help you. We do not have any employee records from the Delaware and Hudson and have no way to research these types of questions.
Most of the corporate records from the Delaware and Hudson were destroyed in a fire in 1991 shortly after Canadian Pacific took over the railroad. Those records that did survive where given to the New York State Library. Most of the materials that the library has have not been cataloged. They might be looking for help......

Another recommendation is that you contact the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board, which you can contact at 844 North Rush, Chicago, IL 60611 (312) 751-4500. They also have a Web page at The U.S. Railroad Retirement Board.
